Faculty of Education aims to train human resource as educational leaders and as experienced educators with knowledge and skills. The overall aim is to promote and support educational scholarship, research and practices. Its innovative programme attracts students from different states and ethnic backgrounds.
New skills and strength of thinking are synthesised into regular practices and experiences. The teaching is characterized by clarity, repertoire examples, analogies, demonstration. By deploying arsenal of techniques, the Faculty guides students into active consideration of vital intellectual curiosities.

Bachelor of Education is a skill oriented program that imbibes the skills and knowledge needed for teaching jobs and career in education. During the course of the study, a student is taught the basics of classroom based teaching, and undergoes practical training through case studies. Qualified graduates are then ready to take up teaching jobs in their respective subjects at school level.
The scope of the teaching degree links closely to India's education objectives. As the government has stated the need to increase enrolment ratios in schools and colleges, job opportunities for B.Ed. graduates are only going to increase in the near future.
